It would seem Madonna has at least some interest in her past. This week The Material Girl announced her Madonna: The Celebration Tour, which will celebrate her 40 years in the business. Miss Madge also released a celebrity-filled ‘truth or dare’ roundtable video discussion (those celebrities included Diplo, Judd Apatow, Jack Black, Lil Wayne, Amy Schumer, and others) where she revealed her specific plans of getting back in front of audiences and presenting her greatest hits.
We all tend to like to look back to consider things as they were, as we were, relieving our youth in some way.
Guci Image balances on the fence between giving our clients back some of their past in how they look with the hair they come to wear but also keeping sure that what we give them speaks well to the person they are presently. Naturally thinning a male hair unit or lace wig, some greying, a cut; all this and more need be taken into consideration as well as fitting hair to someone’s present lifestyle.
A hair replacement salon will only ever prove successful if it can maintain and mine this delicate balance between each of our clients’ ‘then’ and ‘now.’
So if you indeed have hair that you didn’t have before, were starting to lose, or have been coming to use for a while now, you certainly need to consider what was with what is. This is probably the most significant adjustment our clients come to.
Let’s face it; even Madonna won’t be doing things on stage the way she used to!
By the way, if you are interested, Madonna: The Celebration Tour starts July 15th at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, running through American cities, ending at the beginning of Oct. in Las Vegas. And considering the last time she played live, showcasing her hits, well…running out to get tickets when they go on sale is probably not a bad idea!
